Being part of, and/or helping with the PTSA is a fantastic way to get know new people and to feel involved with your children's school.  Working together with other parents and staff to create some fun and exciting events can be very rewarding for all involved. Furthermore, research has shown that when parents are involved in their children’s education the benefits are numerous regardless of grade level. Indeed, parent participation in education is twice as predictive of students’ academic success as socioeconomic status. The benefits include:

You don’t have to devote hundreds of hours for your child to benefit. Even if you can only volunteer a few hours per year every bit counts. Watch your emails throughout the year as we'Il be asking for help. If you’re ready to do more please contact us.

Do you have an idea for a project within the school. Why not apply for PTSA funding and see if you can make it happen.
